MVP is a waterproof, breathable membrane. It boasts the ability to repel liquid water while allowing water vapor to pass through, making it a lightweight, waterproof fabric suitable for all-weather use.
The MVP DPM suit, more commonly referred to as the 'Goretex' was supplied to all UK troops for wet and cold weather environments. The jacket features a velcro storm flap covering the front main zip to keep out the wind, and also velcro tabs on the cuffs for fitting easily around gloves. It has a hood which can be rolled away into the collar when not in use, 2 large chest pockets which also have velcro closure tabs. There is also a rank slide tab on the centre of the chest as in other British Army Smock designs.
Super grade or used condition means the goods have been previously worn but are still in good condition. Some times this is beneficial to the wearer as they have already been broken in which means the likely hood of them being uncomfortable is minimal.
